Dr Gaurang Ramesh graduated from KS Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore with a Master of Surgery (MS in General Surgery). He received his undergraduate degree (MBBS) from JSS Medical College, Mysore.

Dr Gaurang Ramesh is currently the Director and Consultant at Arka Integrative Healthcare, Bangalore and Consultant Surgeon at the Department of General Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Arka Anugraha Hospital, Bangalore.

Dr Gaurang further earned advanced training by attending Fellowship in Surgical Gastroenterology at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.

Dr Gaurang being a General and Minimally Invasive Surgeon, equally balances his time being a Functional Medicine Practitioner with a focus on Gut Health. His ongoing post-doctoral training includes Functional Medicine Certification from the School of Applied Functional Medicine, USA and the Institute of Applied Medicine, USA. His additional certifications include a Certification in Basic Laparoscopic Surgery from Bangalore Endoscopic Surgery Training Institute and Research Centre

Dr Gaurang is also certified in Basic and Advanced Therapeutic Upper GI Endoscopy from the Centre of Excellence for Minimal Access Surgery Training, Mumbai
